I have created a linked clone of a virtual machine and put it on a machine(say A) on the network.
On the second machine on the network(say B) , I have VMworkstation installed and I am trying to install certain other products like tuxedo on the VM which is at node A.
I get the following error message frequently
"An unexpected network error occured. Choose retry to attempt the operation again . choose abort to terminate this session.Choose continue to forward the error to guest OS."
Clicking on retry/continue does not work and i get the same error again.
Clicking on abort displays the following message
"can not synchronise with parent disk before abort. The disk will be inconsistent "
I am not sure why this error is coming since I am able to access .vmdk file on node A.
Node A and B both have win-xp sp2.both are on LAN.
Any pointers will be helpful.
