I have backups from ESXi that I am trying to use on Workstation Pro.
When I try to open the .vmx files, I get an error: "The file specified is not a virtual disk. Cannot open the disk 'suchandsuchdisk.vmdk.' or one of the snapshot disks it depends on.
I go into the hard disk and make sure to select the proper VMDK, but it still gives the same error. I even tried all of the VMDK files.
When I try to create a new VM and attach the VMDK file by "Use an existing virtual disk" I get an error "The file specified is not a virtual disk."
