I'm using Workstation 14 Player and it's popping out the window:

"error while powering on: Unable to find the VMX binary 'C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware PLayer\vmware.exe'.

Well, then it sounds like the installation was unsuccessful.  I recommend verifying the checksum of the downloaded installer, re-downloading if necessary, and re-attempting installation (make sure to run it "as Admin").
