Drag & drop in Workstation 11 broken

Cannot drag & drop or copy & paste between host & guest using VMware workstation 11 in a Windows 7 x64 host & a Windows 10 TP 9879 x64 guest.

I have installed the VMware tools & tried the/a VMware 9 fix but no joy.

The djbarrett fix dated October 16, 2013 was 1 I tried as several people said they had success using it. It entailed unchecking 2 boxes in Guest Isolation, shutting guest & VM down, restart PC, fire-up VM & recheck boxes (short version of post) (see attached .jpg).

Mine is broken as well.  A royal pain in the rear.

I can sometimes right-click and copy a file in the host and right-click and paste the file in the guest.

Running Workstation 11 on Windows 8.1 X64 will all M$ updates installed.  Guests have ranged from the same OS to Windows 7 x64 and XP and none work.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the tools many times. No joy.

I now can also copy & paste (c/p) the way you described, so far I'm only using it for (guest) Windows 10 x64 testing.

I found that after shutting the PC down & starting it back up the next day the c/p started working for me, not sure how many failures after this, I've had.
