Downgrade from VMware WS 16 to 12

Is there anyway to downgrade a VWware WS 16 to 12

I have and old server and I need it.

If the option is not available via the GUI you need to do it manually.
Remove all snapshots.
Power off the VM cleanly: do not suspend it.

Edit vmx-file when the VM is powered off.
Remove any lines that specify the name of a vmss-file.
Set
virtualHW.version = "12"
Remove any virtual hardware that does not exist in version 12.

Edit vmdk-descriptor-files and set
ddb.virtualHWVersion = "12"
