Does graphics card (for games) work in Vista VM?

I haven't gotten Workstation yet. I would prefer to buy the Linux Workstation to run ubuntu as the host and run Vista as a VM. My laptop has a decent graphics card in it, and I want to play games. Will the graphics card work in the VM? Or does it install virtual VGA adapter (like ESX) for the VMs?

If that is the case, I need to buy the Windows Workstation and run Vista as the host.

Cheers

It is slightly better than SVGA II in ESX, but not much.

Consider that you cannot play games in virtual machine.

shucks. I want to force myself to use linux, but I think if I have it as just a vm, it will just collect dust (like my fedora vm:) )

Thanks
