Hi, DrWhols
Right click the VM that you want to remove, then click "Remove".
once you removed your VM from the library, then it should also disappeared from "inventory.xmls" under directory "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\VMware". Please double check whether it exist there or not.
I can not reproduce your issue.

hi xishengzhang,
that's why i said *permanently*
i simply can't get rid of these entries
now that i know what file it is i'll edit it myselves
thx
i only see this file
inventory.vmls
and it contains the entries
not sure about editing though since all is numbered...
this really should not be an issue at all.....
Hi, DrWhols
you could edit this file directly to delete the related items about the VM you want to remove.
Please let me know the WS version that you are using and please check the folder access permission. I am using WS10.0, no this issue found.

i took an empty one and now it is behaving as expected...
