Does VMware workstation 15 Player support Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) ?

Hi All,

I am using VMware workstation 15 Player to run a Linux guest in a Windows Host. The windows host supports BLE and I have shared that with the guest OS using USB controller in VMware. But, I am unable to perform a LE scan. It gives "Input/Output error". Is this because VMware does not support BLE or is there another reason? Please advise.

I am facing the same issue. I wonder is it the problem with VM/ or hcitool. If you have any update, please do update here as well.
