Dialogue window says vmware tools not running

Hi,

I'm running Workstation on Linux (64 bit) with Windows 7 guest installed in Worksation.

Every time Windows is powered up a dialog says Vmware tools not running.

I reinstalled a few times with the same result.

Is there a bug in the program?

It must be a bug, since I have the exact same problem. Workstation 9.0.2 on 64bit Linux, 32bit Win7 guest, VMware Tools 9.2.3. Even after uninstalling the tools, rebooting the VM, then reinstalling the tools, I get the same error every time I power up the VM.
