I have a automatically generated make script which consists of a lot of delete file_a, rename file_b file_a pairs. When the build is done entirely within the VM this works fine, but when the build takes place on a shared network drive (through either shared host folders or mapped network drives). The rename step fails claiming the file_a already exists. However, when checked the file_a is absent. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this problem ?
