Creating VMimages from ISO in an Automated way

Hi,

I wanted to create vmimages from Iso through a script/Automation.

Suppose i have a large number of isos (with keys) and I wanted to create a Vmimage of each. Is it possible to create such images through a script.

Are there any tools/Exposed apis in vmware workstation or elese where that can be used to do so?

I usually use the PowerISO program for working with ISO files I have, but haven't been able to work on VMware images. You could give it a try and tell me what will you come up with.

I am not sure that power ISo is of any use here. What i want to do is create an vmimage out of the ISO through a commandline/Script. Unless, you meant something like extracting the contents of iso and later mount them on to a vmimage or somrthing like that.

the environment for doing this is already present - cant you use the easy-install system and just provide your custom autoinstall.flp files ?
