Created Physical Machine from VM --How do I REMOVE vmtools in Real Machine

Doing a V2P from a Virtual Windows XP Pro to a Real Machine (for deployment) - reasonably similar hardware on the target real machine I see VMWARE TOOLS is still installed on the Real machine.

I can't seem to find anyway to uninstall this on the real machine. Windows control panel won't do it.

Any Registry opps required to "uninstall" this.

Everything else worked fine --the V2P worked great. I don't however want to deploy machines with VMWARE TOOLS installed.

Cheers

Maybe you should uninstall VMware tools just before migration?

Or you may open VMware windows.iso in VM, copy its content to a real machine (could be via network) and uninstall using that.
