I know this topic has been all over, but all I can find are lots of people with the same problem and no solutions. However, I still have to ask, is there a solution to the flaky copy and paste functionality? We are running XP Host / XP Guest and it doesn't copy and paste correctly using Ctl-C/Ctl-V. You may or may not paste what you just copied. We do notice that using the right click menu to Copy and Paste seems reliable. We only notice the problem when the VM is powered on, but it affects the clipboard copy and paste on the host machine as well (i.e. Select some text, Ctl-C in the host, Ctl-V in the host -> wont paste what was just copied, same thing in the VM). I don't suppose there is a way to prevent vmware from hooking the Ctl-C and Ctl-V is there?
