Connectivity issues

I have the following network. If I SSH onto the VM ISE (192.168.101.105) I can ping the Cisco switch 192.168.1.201. However I can't ping from 192.168.1.201 to 192.168.101.105. I can ping the physical adaptor on the HP workstation. But none of the virtual machines. I have disabled the Windows Firewall on the HP Workstation Windows 10 instance. I have run Wireshark on the HP workstation and on the Windows 2019 Server VM whilst pinging it don't seen any ICMP traffic. I have also disabled the firewall on the Windows 2019 Server VM makes no difference.

Don't understand how I can ping one way and not the other.

Isn't that the nature of NAT connections?

The outside world is visible to your virtual machines, but THEY are not visible to the outside world unless you have specifically mapped ports to them (using the Virtual Network Editor utility).

That is a good point. I will look at port forwarding
