Connecting Windows XP virual machine to Windows 2003 server virtual machine

I have both Windows XP & 2003 server vitual machine hosted on my VMware workstation. Can somebody help me to connect the Windows XP to the Windows 2003 domain. What network adapter setting should I choose and what are the IP & DNS settings should I configure.

Thanks

Welcome to the forums!

We also need to know if both guests should be able to connect to the physical network or not. In general you can use each of the three offered network types (bridged, host-only or NAT) to connect both guests. As soon as they can ping each other you should be able to add the XP guest to the domain (assumed that the domain is hosted on the other virtual guest).

Of course, depending on which network type you choose you need to have a valid IP setup.
