Connect to server option in workstation is connecting

Hi All,

I am using VM WS9 and I have shared a VM. when I try to connect through File-->"Connect to Server" from the machine in which I have shared the VM using "localhost" as address it is connecting. but when I try to connect that from another VM in which VM workstation 10 is installed, I couldn't connect. also I have tried to connect from another machine in my network too. no luck. any answer/suggestions pls.

Yes firewall is disabled in both machines. it has been managed by McAfee antivirus. But I am able to ping the machine which I wanted to connect. Also the machine which I wanted to connect is in Domain and the VM is not in Domain.
