Configuring a LAN between 2 VM

I use Workstation 15 on a Windows 10 Pro host.
I have two VM running Windows 7.
The first VM contains SQL Server.
The second VM needs access to the SQL Server inside the first VM.

Can someone explain the COMPLETE list of passages to do this?

Thanks

Giorgio

This should help: https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Workstation-Player-for-Windows/16.0/com.vmware.player.win.using.do...

No, this doesn't help, I don't understand what I should do.
Both my VM use "bridged connection", but:
a) from the host machine I can't ping the VM IP
b) from inside one VM I can't ping the other VM IP

Might be firewalls inside the guest OSes, might be their relative IP address configurations.

Depends what they’re set to at the moment.
