I'm trying to use an old program (Borland C++ 4.52) on a new Laptop with WIN10Pro.
To do this I installed VMWARE Workstation 16, and WinXP SP2 as guest OS.
The laptop has a native RS232 port (COM 9 pins) that I'm trying to use to communicate with a CPU card
My problem is that the serial connection is unstable: the communication starts (this means that the COM setting is ok) but after some second it stops. I can only see errors like the old "device I/O error"
Any help will be appreciated.
