Hey, I have Workstation 8 (plus Workststion 9 upgrade) running XP Home Edition SP3 with the latest VMWare Tools and every time I change the desktop resolution lower than my 1920 x 1080 native on my host, all it does is show a smaller screen in the middle with a massive black border around it (I don't really know what to call it). This would not bother me if I was not playing Wizardry Gold on this VM, as this game runs in a window with no fullscreen option at all.
Is there a way to display a lower resolution in a Windows XP - or even Windows 7 VM that will change the entire screen (again I don't know th words for it).
