Hi all, I compiled emacs 24.5 to use a later version than that available to me in the default work repositories, and random characters in the minibuffer are missing periodically, but when I go back over them with the cursor they re-appear. This happens in buffers, too, but usually with longer strings of text (and is fixed by moving the cursor over). This is a screenshot: - Album on Imgur. I've tried compiling 24.2 and 24.5 and they both have this issue, but a version of 24.2 that was compiled a few years ago works fine. Any ideas?
