Cannot uninstall

I completely lost the drive VMware Workstation was on and I cannot reinstall or uninstall and get the message: Invalid drive V:\.

Is there a way to force removal of it?

Info:
VMware Workstation 15.5 Pro Upgrade.

Thank you.

Have you tried running the VMware Cleaner (see knowledgebase article 1308)?

Hi,

To uninstall.. run the installer, click remove

You could also try to use the Appwiz.cpl method as laid out here:

Not sure if any of those will let you get past the issue of missing the drive on which it was installed, but worth a try.

Thank you for your reply. I tried to force removal of the program with uninstall tool: https://crystalidea.com/uninstall-tool usually this will work, but there is still remnants of the install still in the registry somewhere.

So I have to reinstall windows or upgrade to 16, that seems to be the only solution.

Thank you again for your reply.
