Cannot join guest vm to host server DC - Windows Server 2008 x64 SP2

Upon attempting to join my guest VM (Windows Server 2008 x64) to a DC on my host computer (also Windows Server 2008 x64), I get an an error saying "An attempt to resolve the DNS name of a DC in the domain being joined has failed". I'm behind a router and my configuration is below. Any assistance would be welcome. Thank you.

I would suggest using standard techniques that one would employ when trying to troubleshoot a physical machine failing to join a domain such as:

1) Can the guest ping other machines on the network that other physical machines on the network?

2) Is DNS configured correctly such that the guest can resolve, via nslookup, the full domain name and names of known servers

What type of networking have you configured for the guest ?

Suggest you post ipconfig /all from host and guest.
