Cannot connect to Wks10 wks server

I've done a fresh install of Wks 10 and specified port 443 for the server.  I have one VM set as 'shared'.  It's functionality is good and I have internet access on it.

When trying to connect to it from another Wks 10 system using  'File >> Connect to server' I get confirmation to accept the certificate and prompted for a login.

I've tried logging in with the root account and my personal account.  Both accounts are in good standing on both servers.  My personal account is set with Administrator permissions on both copies of Wks 10.

With either account I get "Cannot complete login due to an incorrect user name or password"  This occurs on both the root and my personal account.

I can do an OS ssh between the two systems without an issue.  It's just connecting to the Wks10 server that fails.

This comes out of the log;

TIA for any help, suggestions, pointers.

Thanks Lingo.  I read through it but still have the same error.

The hosts systems are Mandriva Linux 2010 Spring PWP, kernel 2.6.33.7, x64, each with VMware Wks 10.

Still digging.

Thanks,

Bill
