Cannot change network to bridged: There are no un-bridged host network adapters.

Good Day,

VMnet0 did not appear even if i Restore Defaults.
Also I cannot bridge mode any VMnet.

Just to clarify, it's not about the user's admin permissions alone, you need to start the "Virtual Network Editor" by right clicking, and selecting "Run as Administrator".

Please check the host's physical network adapter properties, to see whether they contain the "VMware Bridge Protocol", and that it is enabled.

Please don' get me wrong, I'm not trying to finger point, but users reported several issues with Avast in the past.

Can you please try to completely disable Avast, then start the Virtual Network Editor "as Administrator", and run "Restore Defaults"?

I have the same issue, did anyone figure it out so far?

Same issue after upgrading to 17.0.2. No VMNet0, even after "Restore Defaults". No way to bridge a network. None of the suggestions offered have worked.

Feels to me that's an intended consequence.  My colleague did the update and got the same issue as well.
