Cannot Drag and Drop from Guest to Windows XP Desktop

Host = Windows XP Pro

Guest = Windows XP Pro

I cannot drag and drop from the guest (WIndows XP Pro) to my Windows desktop host (Windows XP Pro).

I have checked the VM / Settings / Options / Guest Isolation and both options are checked.

I have the latest version of 5.5.

I have unchecked the Guest Isolation and rechecked, no luck.

I can drag and drop on Workstation 6.0.

Any ideas.

Just a stab in the dark, but could this VM possibly have the VM6 tools on it?

If so, try removing 'em & putting the VM5.5 tools back on...

Just wanted to check in and upate. It was a version issue. The images were made with Workstation 6, so Tools 6 was installed.

All better now.
