Can you create an .OVA export and include your current HWID?

Oracle VM Virtual Box allows you to export an OVA file with the option to keep the current HWID if you are moving to another hosting server.  Does VMWare allow this option?  I am trying to move my VMWare Image to another host using OVA and do not see an option to keep the same HWID

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Pretty sure the answer to your question is no.

However - not sure you are going about this the best way.  Are you migrating virtualization platforms, or just moving to a different host computer also running VMware Workstation?  If you are moving to another VMware host, there is no reason to export your VM.  Just copy the desired VM's folder (easier to zip it up) to the other computer.  When you first power it on, if you don't want any of the IDs to change, answer "I moved it" to the prompt.

I was going to move the VM to Oracle Virtualbox because this is a game hosting server.  VMware limits me to 128gb of ram where as Oracle VM does not and I need more ram.

Are there any files I can safely delete in the VM folder before copying and moving it over?  Can I delete the Cache folder or any other files in there?
