Hi
I have install Windows 2008 R2 64 bit and after that i have install VMware workstation 6.5 but i am not able to install windows 64 bit guest os under vmware workstation
Thanks
Hardware support is required to isolate the hypervisor from the guest. Intel does not provide segment limit checks in 64-bit mode, so VT is required to isolate the hypervisor from a 64-bit guest. See KB 1003945.
did you enable VT-support in BIOS of the host and did a cold reboot ?

Is your host 64-bit, and does it support VT?
Please see this article:
yes i have installed windows 2008 64 bit host but my CPU does not support VT ,
VMware workstation installed on Windows 2008 64 bit an i m not able to create virtual machine under vmware work station it showing that your hardware is not compatible
regards
Rohit
If your processor is Intel but doesn't support VT you can't run 64 bit virtual machines on that box.
