Hello,
I can't start my VM. When I check the .vmx config file I see this:
Looks like a log for me. Why is it in the vmx file? Make no sense for me. And I am pretty sure this is why my vm do not start. What can I do? Problem is also that the vm was encrypted and normally the vmx file contain data for the encryption.
The vmware.log is supposed to contain a full copy of the vmx-file
With Fusion we occasionally notice the vmx, vmdk, vmxf and vmware.log content got mixed up.
If you run into this try to find one vmware.log that still has a complete copy of the vmx.
Do you use any obscure , overeager antivirus software ?
Is the copy of the vmx with the ~ in the name still clean ?

Thank you very much! I checked the log file and I can't find any copy. But the ~ file was the solution! I thought it contained also the log, because both files have the same size. But because of you I checked this and saw the normal .vmx data. Thank youuuu!
