Can't Get Simplified Chinese to see network using VM workstation

I've created a Simplified Chinese VM on VM workstation 5.5.2. It seems to install fine but it doesn't see the network or the internet. Any suggestions?

What is the host OS?

What is the guest OS?

How is the host connected to the local network/ internet? (Cable modem, DSL, Router, Switch..etc)

Post the output from " ipconfig /all" (Windows) or the output from " ifconfig -a" (Linux) from both the host & guest OS.

Post the .vmx file from the virtual machine

What is the guest OS? - Simplified Chinese 2K
