Can't Connect to the same host

Alright Guys , I seem to be having an  issue with vmware. I am trying to connect to the same network as my host on vmware  but for some reason it isnt working ,take a look at the images below, basically their 2 different networks.I want vmware  to basically connect to the same host as my computer .  I tried to Bridge the connection  because thats what I learned in class but that didnt do anything. Instead it stopped from vmware from connecting to the internet . Any help will be appreciatted.

Thanks for posting and sorry to hear you have a problem with WS 8.

I think Problen in yours Avast configuration...

First I opened Avast and stopped my Firewall. Then I went to windows Firewall --> Allowed Programs. Their was a whole bunch of programs allowed but I couldnt find Avast so do I add it to the list?

Since I managed to fail , I will be posting a video up shortly , maybe the reason this is happening is because I am doing something wrong so please watch the video. As you see I uninstalled Avast.
