I'm working with a device based on CP1201N device (USB to UART bridge).
The device enumerated fine with the Windows 10 host. Virtual serial port is present in the Device Manager. When I start my Lunux guest under Workstation Pro, Version 15.5.1 build-15018445 and go into VM->Removable Devices->Cygnal Integrated CP2102N USB to UART Bridge Controller->Connect (Disconnect from Host) the virtual serial port in the device manager disappears, but nothing comes up in the Linux. Output from lsusb remains the same, and there is no /dev/ttyUSB0.
And normally the string for the connected devices in the VM->Removable Devices changes to "Disconnect (Connect to Host)", but for this device it does not happen. It remains "Connect (Disconnect from Host)".
Any help would be appreciated.
