CDS internal client error (3033) while updating Tools

Upon starting a virtual machine, i was prompted to install WMware Tools for Windows 2000 and later - version 8.8.1 .

I agreed, started to download and then received the error CDS internal client error (3033).

Any hints about how to fix?

The issue was solved by uninstalling and re-installing. The problem is that it seems that with version 8 i have to do that everytime there is an update of the vmware tools.

I have the same problem.

When trying to Update VMWare Tools I got message: CDS internal client error (3033).

Uninstalling Fusion 6 and installing it back have no effect.

Please help!
