Business License available for Workstation Pro 12.5.8 is a new License required to update to Workstation Pro 14

Hi All,

On my business notebook, VMWare Workstation Pro 12.5.8, with a busines license from my company. Now I was asked to update to Workstation Pro 14.

Is the available License usable for this Upgrade, or is it required that my company needs to buy a new license.

A workstation 12 license will not unlock Workstation 14.  But if your company has purchased support, you should be able to log in to www.myvmware.com and upgrade the key.  If they did not purchase support or failed to renew it before Workstation 14 was released, they will have to buy a new license for 14.
