Bug: VMWare Workstation 14.1.1 build-7528167 and Windows 10 1803 - Application Guard

The application guard feature that allows for a sandboxed instance of edge causes VMWare Workstation to error halt loading VMs with the error "VMware Workstation and Device/Credential Guard are not compatible. VMware Workstation can be run after disabling Device/Credential Guard. Please visit http://www.vmware.com/go/turnoff_CG_DG for more details"

Uninstalling the Application Guard component does allow VMWare to load virtual machines as a workaround until this is fixed. Please fix it.

As I understand it this is a hardware limitation with the VT-x virtualisation technology in Intel processors (I don't know about AMD processors) which only allows one hypervisor to be running at a time. Application Guard, Device Guard, and Credential Guard all utilise the Hyper-V hypervisor so if they are enable the Hyper-V hypervisor will be running so preventing the VMware (or any other) hypervisor from running.
