I found a problem that Resource Monitor(resmon.exe) in Client system shows nothing after installing Internet Explorer 11(by Windows Update), VMWare tools, and setting a high DPI zoom(125%).
VM system was Installed from MSDN ISO image file, not Activated, not changed any system options. Only installed IE11, VMTools, DPI 125%, and then got the bug.
I have tested it several times, and confirmed the problem.
Environment:
VMWare Workstation/Tools Version: 12.01
Host System: Windows 10 x64 Enterprise Build 10586 (zh-cn)
Client System: Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 SP1 (zh-cn)
VMWare Workstation/Tools
Welcome to Workstation community!
I have tried the same scenario in Windows server 2008 R2 SP1 64bit host, the issue occurred on the host.
So, it is the bug for Microsoft not Workstation.
Thanks!
thank you.
however, the issue didn't occured without vmtools. but recured after installing vmtools in the client.
so, it seems that the issue was caused by vmtools.
are you sure it is the bug for windows not workstation?

Thanks.
