Bridged Networking and display FreeBSD 7.0

I have searched Vmware.com, these forums and googled till I am blue in the face. FreeBSD is picking up an ip from my router and the gateway is set, as well as DNS. Workstation 6.5 is running under Vista Home with 4gigs of ram installed. The display has a setting of 1440X900 and the card is a ATI Mobility HD 2600. The host machine is connected via wireless to my home lan. My ip is 192.168.1.XXX 255.255.255.0 subnet...I still can't ping the router or anywhere in the cloud.

The other issue is that when I add modeline to my xorg.conf file I still am getting scrollbars both vertical and horizontal when I startup X and fluxbox. Can anyone give me a working solution to these issues? I have tried everything that was listed on vmware.com and the net to try and resolve this problem myself.

Thank you,

Mel

Please note bridged networking does not route in Kubuntu either. IP and netmask and everything ok...still no joy

Can you post the .vmx file and vmware.log files from your FreeBSD Guest directory?
