Both Windows 10 and Windows 11 after an update bluescreen on startup

After installing an update for Windows 10 or Windows 11, after restarting the guest becomes unusable, crashing on every boot with stop code "UNSUPPORTED_PROCESSOR". But, i'm talking about installing Windows 11, or a debloat like Tiny11.

After a few restarts, Windows uninstalls the update, and the VM becomes usable again.

Mainly happens when trying to install the latest update for Windows 11 (or a debloat). The setup part goes perfectly, but when restarting to the driver install part, it BSODs.

Let us know on which of VMware Workstation you are facing this issue. Are you facing this in Workstation 17.0?

Thanks!

You might want to try updating to 16.2.5.
