Boot menu +Hard Drive submenu not opening issue.

Hello everybody,

I am using VMware® Workstation 15 Pro 15.5.6 build-16341506 on Centos 8.

On boot menu +Hard Drive sub menu not opening. if i enter on it starting os but can not open Hard Drives that i have 3 hard drive.

How can i fix that issue?

But i can see and open hard drives sub menu in bios.

There is no issue.

The boot menu is used for quick selection during boot.

To setup the details you go into Bios Boot tab.

Hello, thanks for the reply first.

In the boot menu list item  +Hard Drive sub menu can not open? Because i wanna choose hard drive between 1 to 3.

Make that change in the Boot-page of the BIOS.

Regard the + in the boot menu as nothing more as a reminder that the Hard Drive option in the boot menu is preset to your favorite boot disk

If you want to switch your favorite boot-disk you have to do that in the BIOS

The method you mentioned is a long way. As the system started, I had to be able to select from the hard disks from the menu as in modern computers.

Start with "boot into firmware" then 4 times "arrow right" and you are there - make selection - F10
