Backup workstation VM automatically at the vmdk level

I'd like to backup a VMware workstation automatically at the vmdk level, as opposed to within the VM at the file level.  Is there a backup product that does this for

VMware workstation? It has to work with Workstation specifically.  Ideally I'd like to have something that creates a snapshot, backs up the base disk locally or to the cloud, then recommits the snapshot, as with an enterprise level backup product.  If not that, the cleanest backup I can get.  I want to install this on a user's desktop that doesn't know much about IT so they don't have to manually do a backup.

Thanks!

OK that looks great except it looks like it can't do file level restore.  Is there any other product that can also do file level restore on a VMware Workstation VM?

Sorry, but I don't know any solution for VMware Workstation virtual machine based backup with file level recovery... I think you should try one solution with guest agents or, if Windows, the native Windows Backup feature.

I found out backupchain's enterprise level solution runs on windows 7 and lets you backup and restore both at the file level and the vmdk level.
