Trying to troubleshoot starting an encrypted guest OS (W11) on my host (W11).
Running VMWare Workstation 16 Pro, 16.2.3 build-19376536
In a batch file, I am executing:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware Workstation\vmrun.exe" -T ws start "C:\Users\xxx\Documents\Virtual Machines\Win10-xxx\Win10-xxx.vmx"
After being prompted for a password, and correctly entering it, I receive:
Error: The operation is not supported
[process exited with code 4294967295]
Host: Windows 11 21H2, 22000.556
Guest: Windows 11 21H2, 22000.556
Is vmrun.exe the best way to do this? What am I missing here?
