Assign correct IP addresses to vmnet network adapters in host pc

Hi all,

I had a problem in my networking class. We needed to assign IP addresses to the vmnets in Virtual Network Editor, but unfortunately I did this in my own network adapter settings...

I've searched the internet far and wide for the correct IP addresses but found nothing.

My question is, does anyone have the right IP addresses for the vmnets that are shown in my screenshot? I did not change the subnet mask, only the number marked as x (192.168.x and 10.0.x). I heard from my professor that these IP addresses should be configured automatically once you set up VMware or create these vmnets. If not, I would please like to know 🙂

Version VMware: VMware Workstation Pro version 17.5

Thanks in advance!

First off, there is no one "correct" set.  The easiest way is to launch the Virtual Network Editor (as Admin), and click the button to "Restore Defaults".  This will regenerate a new random set of address ranges for the basic virtual networks.

Will this also reset the IP addresses of my Virtual Network adapters inside my control panel?
