Since I upgraded VMware Workstation from v12.0 to v12.1 each time I start a VM I get a popup telling me that a new version of "VMware Tools for Windows 2000 and later - version 10.0.5" is available.
If I click the [Download and Install]-button this invariably fails with an error "VMware Tools for Windows 2000 and later - version 10.0.5. Error: There was a problem updating a software component. ...
How do I get this updated?
