As your post needs moving to the area for Workstation Pro, I have reported it to the moderators.

Same for me.

VMWare Workstation Pro 16.2.4 on Windows10 Pro 22H2 and Intel(R) Xeon(R) Gold 6210U CPU

Had to reduce all VMs to 1 CPU and 1 Core because the alternative to switch of Hyper-V is impractical (i need both, sometimes in parallel or at least often switching between them).

As compatibility is a promise made for VMWare Workstation 16, I expect this to be fixed in a bug-fix for version 16, not requiring an upgrade to version 17

Same for me.
Even the proposed solution: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/90134 doesn't work.
Let's hope they come with a fix in pro16 version soon. (I bought my license (16PRO) 1 month ago...)

i haven't gone through the pages of comments but before installing VMWare 16 latest update, I turned off Windows sandbox on my Host, and my VMs worked correctly again.

Once I installed the patch and reinstalled Windows Sandbox... All Good

Back to where I was before the Windows update which by the way can not be uninstalled (KB5019959 )
