After a restart of host, network adapter VMnet0 lost ist Settings (vmware 7)

Hello,

every time I restart my host, the settings form VMnet0 .. 8 are chagend.

After that I always klick "Restore Default" button to reconfigure it in the "Virtual Network Editor". Then it works.

I'm using VMware 7.1.4 on win 8 machine. This didn't happened with win 7.

Does someone solve the problem?

Please open the "Virtual Network Editor" via rightclick and "run as admin". On the other side, Win8 is not a supported host-os for WS7.X.

Thanks for your answers, but the problem is still current.

@grace27: Drivers (VMNet1 and VMNet8) are in version: 4.0.3.0 fom Date 2009/07/30 (???). When I try to actualize them, the message say they are latest version.

@dayworker: "run as admin"didn't bring any other effects then doubleclick.

no, there are no conflicts, because of the machines ran at the old PC with Win XP. After I moved the VMs to the new PC (Win :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: this issue rised.
