Access windows 8.1 host shared folder from Ubuntu 14.04 guest

Hello,

from ubuntu 14.04 guest in a windows 8.1 64 bit host, i try to access to windows network.

The guest is bridged.

In the host i exposed a folder for networking sharing.

In ubuntu i can windows network.

Clicking on this throws an error.

Connecting to windows sharing folder also fails.

-> smb://ip

No shared folders no network connection.

Any suggestions ?

In the network settings of the ubuntu guest i switched from bridge to nat.

Now it works.
