64 bits with vmware workstation

Hi,

My pc is windows 7 64-bit, How do I create vm the 64bits? I can only a create a 32bits

I have a Dual Core E5400

In order to run 64bit VM's you'll need to enable VT in the Hosts BIOS.  However, depending on the CPU, you may not have VT in the BIOS

Troy, im my bios i have the option VT is enable.

In Vmware Workstation --> Processors --> I set Preffered Mode = Intel VT-x/ept

But, blue screen

set preferred mode to "Automatic" see if that helps.

Also,  should check out the Processor Check for 64-Bit Compatibility

....and finally, you may want to flash the BIOS

Automatic = SO 32bits

unsure then.  I have 64 bit guests and use Automatic with no issue

Some E5400s have VT and some do not.  Can you post a vmware.log file?

Sorry. my english is bad.

I reinstall de vmware workstation, because option VT is disable in BIOS.

I enable this option and reinstall.
