64-bit VM on a 32-bit Host. VT Enabled and verified. What now?

hello! I created a VM loaded with Windows Server 2008 x64 using Workstation 6.5.1 on a Vista x64 machine. My intention was to distribute this VM to our field offices for use in testing applications on Windows Server 2008. Once I was ready to test this out, I installed VMware Player on a test machine that is running Windows XP 32-bit as that is probably what our field staff will be using when running this VM. I made sure the processor in this machine had both EMT64 and Intel VT available and enabled. I even booted with the using the vt.iso boot disk to verify VT was enabled on both cores of the processor. It is. However when I try to power on the VM in VMWare player, I receive a message stating: “You have configured this virtual machine to use a 64-bit guest operating system. However this host is not capable of running 64-bit virtual machines or this virtual machine has 64-bit support disabled.” I believe my hardware is configured correctly. I have looked through VMware’s knowledge base and couldn’t find any articles that told me anything different as far as what I should be doing in this situation. I believe I have everything in place, but it's not working. Is there something I need to change in the configuration of the virtual machine because I moved it from a 64-bit host to a 32-bit host? There is a BIOS update available for the test machine I am using, but it seems VT is being enabled properly.

I am not sure what this did, but I used the Export feature in Workstation and specified that I was going to VmWare Player. The machine now starts with VmWare Player on the test machine.
