I am running Vista Home Premium on this PC which I had a fair amount of clutter on. Workstation 6.5.1 was installed and working fine. I saved what I needed to from the HD and formatted it and reinstalled the O/S.Now when I try to reinstall Workstation 6.5.1(from the original download used successfully before or from a replacement download) I get the VMware splash screen and "preparing VMworkstation for installation" along with the green progress bar which gets 90% across and then all activity stops.
This is doing my mental health no good at all so if any kind soul could help out I and my family would be very grateful :smileyangry:
