this is a VM I suspended in WS 6.0.4 just before installing 6.5.1

1. In VM > Settings > Options > Power, is the Power-on action configured to be "Start up guest"?

2. In the guest, do you have VMware Tools > Scripts > Resume Guest Operating System configured to run a script? Can you run the script manually without any errors? Is it a custom script?

Right on target - once I changed "Power" to "power on" the error-message disappears - sorry - don't know about the scripts - this is the standard m0n0wall appliance - they may have added a custom script
