5.5.3 Upgrade failed now completely broken

Hi,

I had Workstation 5.5.1-19175 installed and tried to upgrade to 5.5.3-34685. Midway through the upgrade the process hung, I waited 30 minutes for it to sort itself out but had to kill it in the end.

I tried to restart the installation but am getting a "Previous version detected, uninstall first" msg. Unfortunately Workstation doesn't appear in the Add/Remove list any more, and I can't see an obvious un-install exe in the Program Files directory.

Any ideas how I can clean this up and install the latest version? At the moment it's not working at all.

Open a command prompt window and use the /c option to uninstall VMware Workstation 5.5.3

VMware-workstation-5.5.3-34685.exe /c
